You control the optional map
CoolIsle uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It uses cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate page visits and performance. The first-visit choice lets you allow or reject the external interactive map without losing the weather information, guides, tables or seller links.

Change your choice
You can revisit the same equal allow and reject controls at any time. Resetting removes the saved record and asks again.
What is stored on your device
No cookie is created just to remember this decision. CoolIsle stores one strictly necessary browser localStorage record on this site’s origin:

If browser storage is blocked, the choice applies only to the current page and is asked again later. Invalid, expired or differently shaped records are discarded. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not create an analytics cookie or use browser storage.
Optional interactive map
The map is off until you choose “Allow optional maps”. Allowing it downloads Leaflet from cdnjs and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Those providers receive ordinary connection data such as your IP address and browser headers. Rejecting or later withdrawing your choice leaves a non-interactive explanation in place and prevents further map-tile loading.

Other external connections
Cloudflare Web Analytics loads on each page and receives a small cookie-free page-view and performance beacon. Google Fonts, selected Unsplash images, Open-Meteo weather data and the published WeatherChart dataset may also be requested as part of the page. The optional-map choice does not control those requests. Following a seller, official-source or social-source link takes you to that third party under its own privacy terms. CoolIsle does not run checkout, receive basket details or add affiliate identifiers to seller links.
CoolIsle has no account system and does not receive your choice record. The site’s public source and issue tracker are operated through the BREXAtlas/Cool-Isle GitHub repository. GitHub issues are public, so do not post private contact details there.
Why the controls work this way
The controls follow current UK guidance by keeping optional storage and access off before a positive choice, making rejection as easy as acceptance, and keeping a permanent way to revisit the choice.
